Tragic death, I remember when he sat on Jake Roberts snake Damien....classic WWF

Earthquake (John Tenta) had great wrestling skills for a man of his size - - he was found as a sumo wrestler. But his mic skills and charisma were definitely lacking, causing him to never truly excel in the sport (similar to Yokozuna and King Kong Bundy).

Therefore, Earthquake will be remembered as a kind, big man with not much "gold" to show for it. But many people will still remember the man and his wrestling legacy built on size alone.

He was a great heel in his time. Even his character on one of the first wrestling video games was tough. As far as skill, he had limited ring talent due to his size. But, since the wrestling business is not just about skill, he proved to be a very valuable commodity to Vince McMahon and company.

Earthquake was one of my favorites in the early 90's. That's sad. He will be missed. Loved the feud he had with Hulk Hogan.

As a wrestler ... Not much ... he was just a big guy nothing spectacular.

I never saw him in a really great match.

Sorry though to hear of his passing at such young age,
