HAHA - you got the whole question wrong. If he knew the lady's sister, he did not have to kill her, just ask her for the lady's number.
It does give me an idea about what you could be. Definately not very smart.

he wants to kill the lady's sister bcuz he wants her all alone to himself. OR he's a pyscho. OR to get her attention. OR ..to get to see her after he kills her sister..bcuz that time, she will be in a state where she needs someone to lean on to or need a helping hand.. that tt pyscho will come to her.. n den mayb he thinks they cud fall in love. OR ...to see her at another funeral, when this time, he can haf a chance to speak to her.. : D

because the lady he fell in love with was the dead person, and he killed the sister because he found out the sister is who killed the dead sister, so he killed her for his avenge on the woman he loves.
