Find the source of the hatred. Is it abuse? (Physical or verbal)

If so, report it. You MUST find justice for wrongs committed.

If it's not so serious, but you are being hurt by mean words or actions, maybe you need to remove yourself from the situations that hurt you. That might even mean leaving home.
If the person you hate won't change, you need to leave...they can then decide if it's worth changing to keep the relationship.

Finally, feel love. Find a source of love for yourself. Find trustworthy friends...the Christian church is supposed to do this very thing. Find a good one of those (yes there are bad ones).

Feeling loved is the only way to have the strength to love those who deserve hate.

I have been there too. It is like a hard work-out to get strong enough to . .see . .the situation . . .feel the hate . . graduate to trying to understand the motives behind the other person's behavior . . . and then just try to go on . . .go on with your day. It comes back to you sometimes . . .and then . .you just think about it again . . .analyze it again . . then focus on something else again . . Then go on with your day . . .everytime it comes back . . it will be weaker . . .and you'll have more of an answer . .and less of a care . . .That's how you live through a natural feeling of hate . . you just acknowledge it and endure and grapple and focus elsewhere . .let it come back as it may naturally . . .and then re-process it again . . and then just wait for it to dissapate.

Kumar is right. But that's how I think you get to the point where you have controls on your ego. I think. I wish Kumar would tell HOW to get where he is talking about. I am pleased with my recent graduation to successfully dealing with feelings like this . . .I don't throw the phone and have to buy another one. I don't cry till I look like an alien the next day . . and give myself a headache and a stuffed nose. God good luck . . .this was very tough. Maybe remind yourself that the person is . . .just ridiculous . . .I find myself having to remind myself that this one person (maybe others) is just not worth my mental space and/or concern or even much attention . . especially when they are being hurtful.

Tell more about your feeling of hate pls. I am curious the source. It will make me feel better and it may make you feel better too. That's another thing . . always it helps to talk to a friend about the person you feel yucky towards . . it lightens the burden and helps you find your indignance and shake-off things a little. Start looking for people who you feel more in control with so that you have a reprieve. That helped me. I am going to try to meet this guy at my gym and start a relationship with him . . mostly because he looks like a soft place to land. Sometimes it's a matter of Psychological Survival. I hope he either will love me enough . .or be stupid enough . . to either not have the desire . . or not have the capacity . . to F with my head.

By learning to love yourself. Sounds tacky, but it's really true.
Understanding why you hate people helps too-look into the Psychology behind it-you'll be very surprised.
(been there!)

Good luck.
