There was a darts match due to be played in a UK village pub , a new pub owner was running the competition. One of the regular locals gave the new owner some advice "Make sure you have plenty of free snuff available on the bar, for the players, if you have no free snuff they will all walk out"
The new owner forgot the snuff, he was in a bit of a panic and went outside for a breath of fresh air, he noticed an old dried up piece of dog dirt on his drive, he picked it up , he ground it into a fine powder and put it in a bowl on the bar.
The first player came in and had a pinch of 'snuff' he then examined his own shoes and asked the owner, "Can you smell dog crap"?
The next player came in and had a pinch of snuff, the first player asked him if he could smell dog crap, he replied that he had problems with sinus and couldn't smell much of anything!
After a few seconds he said , "this snuff is really good stuff, I think its cured my sinus problem, I can smell dog crap now"!!
Hope this goes some small way to answer your question??
