A cable sold in most music stores, and on the Adventus web site. The complete name is, ‘sound card to MIDI’ cable, and you should select the longer cable (10’ or12’) for the convenience of reaching to your keyboard more easily. In the case of a Laptop, a different cable with adapter is normally used.

Just go to radioshack and ask for the cable that will connect your midi keyboard to your computer and they will help you out with the adapter you need.

You should buy a really good sound card if you plan on recording music on your computer.

Go to this website:

Its the cheapest one I can find. Theres a trial version so maybe you can just keep using the trial version without paying for it.

...Depending on your soundcard and keyboard.....you may have to use a midi to serial...or midi to usb cable.....if you have a soundcard w/ direct midi input ...you can go w/ straight midi cables......RadioShack can be very use(depending upon the individual store)....otherwise a good music shop(where the guys aren't trying to sell you everything) should work
