Green and gold. Both shades will pick up the colored flecks found in brown eyes. Choose a slightly shimmery texture, and apply from lashlines to browbones, blending well.
.
1) Roses
Rose shades work surprising well with these skin tones and hair color. Use them on your cheeks and your lips.

2) Lavender
Another good choice to play up your eyes. Works especially well if you have blue eyes

3) Cocoa
Cocoa smudged against the lash line that should work nicely for you.

4) Powdery Pink
With fair skin, a pale pink will work for cheeks, lips and shadow.

5) Yellow
With your coloring, you can get away with yellows, but you have to hit on just the right shade. Choose something pale and use as a shadow or highlighter.

6) Kelly Green
Choose green as an eyeliner choice, especially if you have brown eyes. Top off with lots of black liner.

7) Charcoal Blue
This is another good choice for liners. For younger readers, shiny blues great for night.

8) White
Lots of women choose this color for highlighter. If this appeals to you, choose a soft white.

9) Bronze
Make sure that there is a little yellow in your bronze and then apply to the lids. It will do amazing things for your brown eyes.

10) Rose Browns
Especially effective as a shadow for the natural look

I'm with those that say go to a pro. If you're a newbie to makeup it'd be nice to have someone to tell you what kind of face and skin you have. You can also match your needs and wants with products. Clinique is an expensive product, and so is Merle Norman... but if you go to them to understand what you need... you can find things just like it at any local store.

Key item though... what looks good on others... even if they are of the "same" complexion, may not look good on you. It's trail by error... that's how all girls do it

Mary Kay is the best brand out there, in my opinion. And you get to try everything before you buy it, so you KNOW whether it will look good. Plus there's the advantage of having someone to help show you how to wear it... You can find a consultant on the Mary Kay website.

Avon or Marykay will come to your house to do a free makeover for you and Avon make up is excellent as is clinique. I usually go by the tone of my skin. Bobby brown (not the singer) makes a good makeup book its on amazon.com . Make up tips for face shapes, evening styles and eyes shape-hair color etc. skin care regimine. How to make a nose look smaller, eyes bigger. shaping eyebrows. Then you can do it all yourself. You can go to the dept. store but how can you reproduce it at home you can't see what she is doing.

The best advice I can give is go to a department store at the Mac or Bobbi Brown counter (or go to Sephora), and ask for a complimentary session. Tell them you concerns and they will be able to help you. That's what they're there for!

Have fun!

Sounds like we have the same look. I would suggest the following:
Over all browns and peaches
a four pack of different hues of brown eyeshadow.
dark brown eyeliner.
peach lipgloss
Contacts for eyes
Highlights (blond) and Lowlights (brown) in your hair
Concealer true blend covergirl (to find match, hold container next to cheak in mirror at store and find closest match)
bronzer on cheek bones
Don't forget to blend

Visit your nearest MAC makeup store or counter, which is located in Dillards or Nordstrom. That is the best makeup out there today and the artists will be very helpful in finding what is right for you.

Are you my long-lost twin? I think the only difference is my hair's a lil reddish and i have blue eyes...Anyways, back to the topic...I would experiment with different colors, try to match eyeshadow with your shirt, or try browns, golds and shiny eyeshadow, like Disco Ball or something....go to Wal*Mart and look around...

use browns that shimmer on eyes and apply 'smokily', although u wear glasses. use clear lipgloss, the glossy ones and not those glittering ones! the right foundation really helps... since you are tanned, uses bronzers instead of blushers
