It would obviously die. Do you think it would jump out of the bowl, hiccuping, and singing an old country song or something.

Vodka is normally a mixture of pure alcohol(70 to 35% - russian vodka is 40% ethonol) and water and different types of vodka contain different ratio of water and it can be swallowed directly without the need for any dilution. It does not contain the required level of oxygen for fish to live. So, the fish will swallow some vodka and then die because of breathing trouble.

My fish tank hold 45 gallons, how much vodka have you got?
My guess would be that the fish would die before getting drunk. I don't recommend experimenting with this one though.

Briefly before dying. A fish tank full of vodka to a fish would be the equivalent of downing a swimming pool full yourself.

No it would die as there would be little oxygen in the vodka for the fish to use to respirate.

it will die...they can survive in water(H20)..but not in methyle(alcohol)...have some pity on the poor fish..spare it...
