Impossible, Ion beams cannot carry light, as if everytime light shone upon an area , the ground or whatever the light hit would vibrate, if done so, then the whole earth would be constantly shaking as ultriviolet rays, x rays, gamma rays, and other beams of light would make the earth quiver (such as light from the sun).

No, in physical terms. Light is an electromagnetic wave, which travels also in space. Sound is a wave in the air, which therefore travels only within the atmosphere.

If you mean sounds as recorded sounds in digital code, like CDs, then you can use a light beam, like the laser, to carry sound signals, which is the procedure of recording and reading CDs.

Light can carry anything that could be considered as information.
When I say that I refer to fiber optics. I'm positive that your question came to me carried (in part) by light. The same when you make a call. Almoust every modern communication infrastructure is based on fiber optics and light is the carrier.

Sound is just our eardrum's perception of vibrations of the air around us. Light has properties of both waves and particles. As such, those particles should be able to induce vibrations in materials, just as air particles are able to convey vibrations (pressures). We may not be able to easily detect these vibrations, but I would think that they are happening all around us.

light travels faster then sound.theoritically yes but practically still not possible.
