*And we love you for doing it MnG*

My creative juices have been flowing for the past few weeks. I have been planning my daughter's 1st birthday party and it has been squeezing me of every last drop of creativity. It started out as a 'simple' gathering and now it has become a huge Hawaiian BBQ. <~~~~not to be confused with a luau ( I didn't want to attempt the imu)

When I plan parties I like to make them as fun as I can. This means games, trivia, entertainment, jokes....etc, etc, etc. Since my husband encourages me not to spend our life savings on such events mostly everything we do I create. For example, I made our own "scratch off lottery tickets". I bought the silver stuff you 'scratch' and I have a picture of my daughter hiding behind the 'winning' ticket(s). This is just one of the many things I have been working on. Others include a timeline board of her 1st year ( a picture for each month with a witty poem explaining her year), trivia questions regarding her "firsts" (first tooth, first time she crawled, etc.), and name tags for the guests with their Hawaiian name on them (which required a little research). Needless to say, after this weekend, when the party is over, I will be drained. That only means I must start on the NEXT project....my sister's baby shower. Any suggestions???

I decorated my living room and bedroom, I did all thewall paper stripping and painting, directing my friends where to put the furniture, telling the floor fitters that they'd put the wrong flooring in my bedroom, I was really busy!!It took forever but it looks so good now, nice ,tidy, clean and chilled. Perfect. What was the last thing you did?

Uhm......uh......maybe you need to see my blog to understand. I took old movie posters and sorta "spoofed" them with critiques that had each of our Yahoo Answers friends starring in the movies. It was fun.......(for me at least). I got to learn a bit about my friends and then try to match this knowledge with an old film title and image that might somehow coincide with the personality of my friend. It sorta wears me out. But I love doing it. :)

I knitted a huge quilt to cover the Earth to protect it from global warming. I think it should do the trick.
