change ur internet service provider (isp) / change to higher modem speed / clean ur cp from any worm, trojan horse, virus / try broadband...
that's all my suggestion...

Not only change your isp, but look into whether or not you have enough RAM to push your machine, whether or not you have spyware, and how many open programs you have.
The ISP is a big one though. If you're on dial-up, you're missing out on the satellite/dsl/cable benefits.

Yes you can!...I use a Program called CableNut...and I'm actually over the cap (the full speed of my ISP) of the speed set for my connection...First download this program...

Next go to this site and do the calculations for what needs to go into the input boxes, and that's it...then go test you speed again and see if you don't end up faster!
