Being a human being itself is a curse. Then after that, man/woman, Indian/Iraqui/American, after that Christian/Muslim/Hindu/Buddhist, then casts, then so many other mental classifications......yes it is a curse.....cure it. Come out of all these classifications and identifications.....keep all those things in paper for society to identify.....but do not record all those in mind...that is sickness pure mental sickness..including patriotism.

A curse for what??? Does it makes sense? If a gay person is cursed by being gay, what is the cause of the curse? Since the curse happens at or before birth, then why would the person be cursed? I don't think it would be fair to curse someone because of the wrongdoing of a different person. Think about it.

Firstly sexual preference is a matter of personal choice , hence any form of theory or value judgment is inappropriate.
The choice of who, when, why, how a person wants to come in sexual contact with is not something open to the public to comment and argue on.It lies at the sole discretion of the person concerned.
Over the years our minds have been conditioned to think homosexuality as unnatural.
To answer your question you have to first realize as to what exactly constitutes gender.I would recommend that you go through Judith Butler's work on Performative gender acts. You will realize that gender is not simply being born with certain physiology but it is more complex.
So when the question of gender itself is open , questions on sexual orientations have to wait.
Personally i always believe that sex was meant for procreation hence any act which does not fulfill the function is not natural. But since civilization dawned humans have become proficient in misusing nature , so why only prosecute the homosexuals.

Being gay isn't a curse, it's a mistake at conception.
Those who are gay cannot change what they are anymore
than a straight person can become gay. I am straight, and I say to those who are gay, don't let the world kick you down, you are just being what you are............

it depends on the person that is gay who is to ssay you are cursed because you are gay I know in the bible it says that man shall not lay with other men. so therefore being gay is a sin BUT it also says
thou shalt not have any other gods before me , and how many people worship money or their cars.., 2. thou shalt not commit idolatry, meaning do not worship false idols and again how many people worship their cars, their house ect. 3. thou shalt not take the name of you lord god invain, people do this all the time on a daily basis. these are just 3 of the ten commandments yes god wants us to live lives that serve him and a lot of people these days say that christians shouldn't accept gay people. So i say what about those who do not honour their father and mother or take the lords name in vain are those sins more tolerable? NO. It also says in the bible James 2:10
10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. so if you lie, even if it is just a little white one it is just the same as taking the lords name in vain. You commit one sin and to god you have commited them all. and since everyone sins no matter how godly it is all the same to God. So i belive that being gay is a sin BUT everyone one sins in one way or another so if the christian community is going to shun the gay community then they also have to shun those who take the lords name in vain and those who lie. the christian community needs to accept all the way that they are.
I was a missionary to afirca and have been leading a christian life. So i just want to let people know this is the way i look at it.

Come as you are!!!

The curse would be having to deal with others who think it's any of their business.

Doubtful, but I do know that being ignorant (hear me, religious????) is the greatest curse of all. The truth is out there and it's ignored because of fear, tradition or whatever.

Curses have no power over us until we
CHOOSE to hand over that power.
Life and lifestyle are directed and
driven by Choices, not curses, so, NO to
the question.
