I don't particularly want to cross dress, but I see how women have such a choice of what they wear, either trousers, or dresses, or practically anything! For men who have office jobs, it is always ties and jackets.

I don't think it is a matter of "right" or "wrong", but how our society views masculinity and femininity. The reason why it appears that it is okay for women to "cross-dress" is because they are putting on the costume of something that represents masculinity and that is favored in this society. It is like women are making a step forward. However, these clothes are still designed to fit a woman's body. This is to say... women cannot look "too" masculine. The opposite is true for men. Our society does not value women and things that are feminine, so it is seen as a step down for a man to want to wear something that is considered "feminine" (in color, in style, in appearance). Another thing that you might find interesting is that even though women have all of these choices, it wasn't until the past 5 years that a woman could wear a suit with pants to an interview without it being deemed inappropriate.

The will always be double standards in life. Why is it that lesbians are way, way more accepted by society than male homosexuals? Why is it that when women wear earrings, it is considered fashionable, and when straight men wear them, they are condidered gay? I guess some people are comfortable in their biased and ridgid way of thinking that nothing will convince them to think otherwise.

'coz we are the saner sex, women need a sense of relivance and they somtimes get this feeling by dressing up as men. but for men i dont think there is any confidence dat dressing like females will bring to us. cross dressing for males is a total NO NO.
