how do I get rid of the Quick Search

You need to downliad and run CWShredder software. It will fix your problem.

It seem to b, ur system is affected by search toolbar adware. But dont worry, u can remove the adware at free of cost by 2 methods.
1. download yahoo tool bar with antispyware
2. Go to google website and search "hijackthis" software and delete the registry which shows only search toolbar.
Caution: Wen u r deleting the registry just b sure of wat u r going to delete. Or else the system will get corrupt. Delete the search tool bar only.

Sounds like you have adware. Your computer could be 50% faster if you got rid of it.

if you mean your homepage go to the tools menu and hit Internet option and type in address which Ithink your looking for either way: www.my.yahoo.com
