they are continents apart but guy calls, texts, sends email everyday. They are meeting soon after 40 years. Widow is confused but still loves the guy. Divorce has to wait though, guy has a lot of bills to settle first. Should widow agree to a "Same Time Next Year" arrangement?

OMG run and run fast, and please dont pay any of his bills, you know at your age, this guy isnt going to leave his wife , he just wants to get laid.
I believe the widow is lonely and this guy is giving her want she wants to hear, If they meet please have someone run a check on his background i know that sound severe but, its has been 40 years. if she lives well , that is what may be the attracton on his part. Plus is he really married the background check will tell you. it will also tell you how much in debt he is. she marries him his dobt is her debt..
again... Run away and dont look back.
what I see in the question is she loves the guy.... what does he love???
on the same time next year arrangement , if your only wanting sex once a year go for it....but, its lonely for you as he gets sex from his wife alot more often...

wow.... ammm... with 40 years ahead, i'm pretty sure he has a family of his own? isn't it wrong, especially at this age, to play such a silly game? sorry to know you're a widow, but what happened to your own family, for that matter? you must have kids....? even if not, there's a lot of single men your age out there - where breaking someone's married and pretty-much-settled life wouldn't really be an issue.

I wouldnt' get involved with any married man. If you really love him wait for the divorce. Untill he is divorced look for some one else. Don't get involved with a married man things only get complicated and people get hurt.
