Take a 20 minute nap and wake up and you'll be awake

Drink coffee, followed by a soda.

Drink a lot of cold water.

Use eyedrops.

Exercise for a few minutes.

Take a shower using peppermint soap.

If all else fails take a nap if possible, but no longer than twenty minutes. If you sleep longer than that it will make it more difficult to get up again.

I used to know someone that would take one spoon of ground coffee & chase it down with a soda. I never tried it, but he swore it worked. It is just whether or not you can stand it!

Before asking of ways to stay open, you need to define why are you so tired? is it all the time like this or in certain days? why do you need to stay awake? and for how long?

there are many ways to refresh yourself (but do not forget that this is in normal life style, which means you need to sleep 5-8 hours daily):
1. exercise often
2. move a lot
3. drink fluids (water is fine)
4. rest enough (if you feel like napping, take a 5-10 minute nap)
5. Caffeine can help you awake but it harms the body in othe long run
6. stay away from internal stress
7. go to busy/noisy areas/activities
8. stay close to active sounds (active music such as rock and roll)

Eat nuts. Have you heard of the GI index? Foods with low GI release energy slowly and are more effective than coffees which just give you a quick blast. I used to drink around 4 coffees a day and I'm now down to that number per week and feel much better for it (and look it too).

Drink lots and lots of water, I have had a really bad nights sleep and I am drinking loads and loads.

I am still struggling a bit though.

Other than that, try matchsticks

Drink some cold water and go for a brisk walk.

Drinking coffee can actually make you more tired, although it has caffeine it also has something in it that makes you more tired according to Gillian McKeith, so only picks you up for a short time then makes you more lethargic.

Try to take a short nap, about 5 minutes, that would be better than coffee tio refresh you. If you can't do that, get fresh air, and in aromatherapy lemon and mint scents are said to enhance concentration and to relieve tiredness.

match sticks. go have a shower. or just go to bed for a while you may feel better. or if things carry on see your gp could be a reason for this. or if you work nights stay in bed a bit longer it takes time to change from day mode to night mode.

run cold water over the inside of ur wrists--the blood vessels are closer to the surface of the skin here and so the cold will travel faster around you--leaving you feel more refreshed

unless you are just generally doing far too much and stressing and tiring yourself out, eating balanced diet is most important thing for tiredness etc. lots of veg, bits of meat and lots of carbohydrate, plus lots of water is very important. not too much sugary snacks etc cos they boost you then leave you lethargic.
