What you have is an old-fashioned first- or second-degree flash burn, in effect. So, here's an old welder's trick to take away the pain and restore the skin.

Ok, now that you've gone and roasted your butt, take a raw potato, cut it in half, and gently (like you'd scrub it really hard, right?) dab the open face on the burns. Do this until you cover the entire area, and then do it again in about an hour or two. Repeat until you use at least half the potato. Don't wash the stuff off until the next morning when you get into the shower. You might just be surprised at the results.

Unless you're really "kinky" or just plain don't care what others see you doing, do this in private, okay?

To reduce sunburn.. spend less time in the Sun or apply a sun block with a HIGH SPF value.

I'm not being trite here... the best way to deal with a SUNBURN is to avoid it. It's DAMMAGED CELLS, "COOKED"... for crumb sake!

Go to pharmacist and they will help you. Myself, I have a heck of a burn Saturday. Love it! Just reminds me that summer is here. Just wish the weather could stay in 70's yearly.

Dab yourself with vinegar, you'll smell like salad but it takes the sting out for awhile

do not go in sun, don't use soap, wash your affected area with plain cold water as many times a day, apply fresh tomato juice on it, this might help.
