Of course they did...but they were very much 'of the time'. As much as I love Baggy trousers it probably doesn't have the same effect on kids today as it did in 1981.

It's now just a good excuse for 40-something Dads to hit the dance floor at weddings!

Depends how you quantify good really. From 1980 to 1985 all of the 17 singles they released went top 20, so in terms of sales and public acceptance they wrote at least 17 good songs (34 if you count the B-Sides.)

What a silly question !!!! Of Course they did. All their singles are classic tracks of their era. Maybe nowadays they might sound dated but at the time they were brilliant. My personal favourites are "One Better Day", "Shut Up" "Cardiac Arrest". Lets see who of todays artists will still be remembered in 20 years time !!!

No, they were all crap. It's council house music, like dexy's midnight runners for example. Why is it that pikeys always get up to dance when come on eileen comes on?

I like "Our house" and "House of fun". I think they're good songs - memorable too!
