Do you take a multivitamin? I take a multi of course, I take an addition caplet of vit. c (just to be sure, I hate getting sick) and 2 caplets of green tea since I've heard it boosts metabolism.

Do you think by taking vitamins it has improved your health?

I take a multivitamin and a type of garlic supplement to curtail colds. It does improve your health if you take the right dosage but it does not necessarily mean that you will live longer. My husband is the epitome of health. He exercises, has a 15% body fat, no problems with cholesterol, no problems with high blood pressure, no diabetes, overall very healthy. He eats the right amount of foods and vegetables, takes vitamins and supplements. Especially antioxidants. Then recently he came down with the flu that tuned into a pneumonia which then lead to a stroke. At the time of the stroke he was 44 yrs old.

So vitamins do work, but it's not necessarily the answer to eternal life.

I use to, but I tend to forget nowadays. I think a balanced diet is the most important thing. Vitamins are only a supplement to that.
