It can mean you are feeling insecure about yourself.
What's bothering you?
There is something deep down that is bothering you, whether you don't feel safe or your heart doesn't feel safe. It can be of past where something hasn't been put to rest or a present day circumstances like a relationship that is going soar and you have lost that secure feeling between you.
Usually if you deal with the situations that cause insecurity the dream will wither with the fear that is causing the dream.
Take time to reflect upon yourself and what is making you unhappy-it's time to put things right I think for your own security. It becomes a longing feeling, security, a desire to feel peace within, something is trying to tell you something

I used to have this type of dream all the time and it does represent your fear of losing someone/something close to you. I was going through a bad patch with my Ex and I loved her to bits but I was really worried that I would lose her and I started dreaming my teeth were falling out. Lost her anyway so the dreams didn't help, lol

l dream that my teeth crumble and fill my mouth with gritty little bits which l then have to spit out ...
Happens like once in 6 months or so..and for as long as l can remember..although it's far less frequent now l'm older.
l don't think anyone knows what it really means....although a lot of interpretations given here seem very apt.But who really knows what any dream means? The human subconscious is still largely uncharted territory......

it's you sub conscious letting you know that you have a fear of not looking your best. As soon as you help your self esteem these dreams will stop.
Spend a day just pampering yourself or get a couple of girlfriends round and have a girlie evening. You will soon have these dreams stopping as long as you don't put yourself down or let anyone else put you down.
Good Luck.

I'd think about what you're really afraid of losing. What might your teeth represent? Communication? Ability to chew - what ideas, situations are you "chewing on" right now? Or is there something keeping you from feeding your psyche?
Those are the questions I ask myself when I have similar dreams.

I've had dreams of spitting out my teeth. I read what it meant once but forgot what the significance was....i'm sure there are places online with the answers. It probably has something to do with losing something important to you.

I used to have the same kind of dream all the time.
It can reflect anxiety abour your appearance -- that is the most common interpretation.
(My boyfriend used to have the same dream all the time, but after we met, both our recurring dreams stopped. Go figure)

In my dream book, it says that the teeth represent your relatives and close family.
