I slammed my fingers in a Plymouth sedan as a kid.
I also slammed them in a variety of screen doors and wooden doors.
Usually, our family vacations included a stop at the hospital for my smashed fingers. I somehow never learned!
Now I have 3 kids of my own, and I always warn them (hysterically) about smashing their fingers.

yes. 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. Quite a bit heavier than an 80 Volvo, and without the foam padding.

This strikes me as an odd but interesting Q.
Anyway, YES. A 1969 Volkswagon fastback with sunroof.
Slammed my left thumb in the passenger door and LOCKED it, had to get someone to open the door to release my thumb! Argh.
The nail fell off a few weeks later.

Very badly when I was 15,, CAR>> Mahindra Bolero (india)
I was at my aunts place, beautiful girls were playing badminton near the place where my dad's SUV was parked.
MIND YOU- The rear door had no gas filled shock-spring (whatever..) nowadays found in all SUVs (this is India)
I took out the luggage from a side hinged REAR DOOR (a heavy example of Indian engineering with a 15in Radial spare tyre fiited on it). Holding stuff in both hands, I forced the door shut with my leg.
To avoid the door from slamming (as the SUV was new), I tried to slow down the door on its way and got my fingers caught. THE DOOR WAS LOCKED. At first I tried to pull my fingers out of the closed door, then gathered strength to pull out the keys from my pocket and open the door with my free (left) hand.
With every pumping action of heart more blood rushed to the fingers and it pained like hell and I just kept my mouth shut to avoid crying in front of girls. Picked up the luggage as if nothing had happened and marched upstairs in my aunts flat just to discover four nails (including thumb) from my right hand had turned completely black and they came off one by one few days after the accident.

hey mine to got jammed in volvo
front door - the nail came out, it was bleeding terribly, and after the doc attended to it, the nail portion became brownish black after couple of days and then after more than a week, the old nail just fell off and a new nail came up
it happened sometime in 1982

yes, a car door - BUT, the most memorable one was a DOOR - this kid bully (a boy) in my school bullied me (a girl!) and he closed the doors on my pinky - the nails actually came OFF - i was really young at that time so i was crying my eyes off and didn't get to see what it looked like - tho i'm curious to see what's underneath the nail bed =P yikes!
