You have to be careful not to break them as they are very fragile, especially the smaller ones. I find that meat hooks are very handy to have, If they are running around too much just pick them up and hang them by the waistbands of thier trousers, it works a treat

i am a mom of two and there is no rules for manual handling o sorry got carried away manual handle your or other kids with love and respect i think a little common sence is required here what do you think

You should ask your human resources dept or manager if your job necessitates this. It depends on the job. In teaching, you should never touch a child, but if you work in hospital, the rules may differ if children need to be restrained to be medicated. In general it is best to allow the parent to restrain the child.
