Good things and bad things happen all the time. If you have been a nice person, the good karma doesnt neccessarily occur immediatly after the time you have been nice. We will go through rough times, before the smooth will appear. Its a silver lining in the grey cloud. We must experience the bad before any good will happen. Be patient, life wil present itself.

Firstly, "things" that happen aren't good or bad. People are good or bad. People have the capacity to act benevolently or malevolenty.
When "good" (positive) things happen to you, they don't occur because you are good unless your positive actions have placed you in a position more likely to result in a positive experience.
For example, if you saved the life of a dying millionaire, you are more likely to have him buy you a yacht than if you had never met the man. But it was helping that particular person with the means to extravagantly thank you that resulted in the positive, not simply "doing something good."
Saving the life of a broke and transient bum would not result in in you suddenly sailing off to the Caribbean.
Sometimes we are punished or rewarded BY our actions, but never because of them. There is no karma, there is just life.

i totally beleive in karma so i live my life being the best person i can be so nothing bad happens to me. and while iv been quite lucky and nothing terrible has ever happened, nothing that great has either. and i dont get it, because if karma makes bad things happen to bad people, why not good things to good people? im thinking that im being set up to win the lottery or something! LOL!

I don't think that has anything to do with karma. Sometimes odd things just happen, although I suppose you could see it as a sign of something in your life... have you thought about if it may have any significance?

life's got more to it than we can calculate and compute. if you think of yourself as a part of the universe you start getting a feel of vastness, and in comparison your own minuteness. karma and reverse karma are all intellectual derivatives, a human mind's intellect................quite insignificant when we look at proportions. i am not being religious here, just attempting to look at the bigger picture. do we really understand how things work??

There are days when I think that my carma is all f**cked up.... You know, like, everything is going wrong! From bad to worse! That is the pessimistic way to look at it! But then I think top myself...what a wonderfull world.... It's all coincidence! We all have to look at the bright side of things and life! ;o)

No, I believe in Karma, but you got to understand it better. Which one is Karma or which one is an accident. From your story, I consider it as an accident.

i think karma is just more of keeping yourself in line... you know morally and consciously whether you've done something bad or not... if so, you'll bring about your own judgement and punishment... good thing too! god bless guilt.
