I felt exactly like you do now in my first marriage. Once she asked me for a divorce I vowed never to marry again! I felt that I was just not the marrying type of person. 2 years later I met a lady that showed me what love really was. Love that I never experienced in my first marriage. This past weekend we celebrated 11 years of incredible marriage to each other.
I never thought I would marry again but when your soul mate comes along, everything is different and wonderful
I wish you the best of luck in your future and what ever road you may take.

been married three times, and going to be married a fourth time. There is no law that says you have to be married, you can be alone without being lonely, I was single for 6 years, and regret the day I married my 3rd husband, but I also married men I didn't love, because everyone told me I should, now I don't listen to anyone, but me, and I have found a very wonderful man to share my life with.

i have been married- once- for almost 11 years. i do not want to get married again ( at least, not yet) maybe its because i haven't found the someone i would want to marry. i feel that its a person's choice if they marry again or not. as for myself- i'm not ready to marry again and i may never be ready. i did have a boyfriend that lived with me for 8 yrs until i got fed up with his crap and booted him to the curb. but we weren't married and i don't think i would have ever married him.

The answer to that question wouldn't truly be known until after the event and with a suitable amount of recovery time.

It's better to have a "suitcase" marriage after a divorce, because to go through the whole divorce thing again is definitely to pain full. "Suitcase" means, live together, when you've had enough, pack your suitcase and go.

NO I would not do it again. I am 42 and I have been happily married for 16 years.
But It would be to much to go through to do it again...

You may have this attitude now but when you reach your "golden" years you likely will want someone along for the ride...you might not act on it but the desire (or regret) will likely be there.
