And there was noone there, even scarier, if they could describe right down to what they are wearing and were very distressed that this weird "invisible" person is in their house?

It's always good to keep an open mind. The worst thing you could do would be to show your Daughter you are freaked by this.
To answer your question a little better, I'd like you to read this- http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmxgoOqpa.0DjK6P5or6xIfsy6IX?qid=20060605182018AA4uyVv
(Yeah, it's a bit of a cop-out, but there was some good advice there!)
Remember though, everything should be taken in context-if there really is a presence in your abode there should be other indicators of it, too varied for me to list now. Imagination can be very real and should never be ruled out. :)

I think your kidding is having you on. Looking over your other posted questions below, it is apparent that your are encouraging this "scary" behavior, and any kid old enough to articulate the word will have been exposed to the concept of gggggghosts!
My daughter also had a vivid imagination and loved telling spooky stories when she was small.
She just graduated high school as valedictorian.
My point is that this is real healthy, and the kid will grow out of it. Just don't take it too seriously or be too encouraging, mom. It's not necessary.

If this is a child 4 or younger, it is not uncommon for them to see their spirit guide or spectral visitors. We all had that ability when we were born and as we get older we lose it. I can remember my daughter waving to someone on the ceiling of her room when she was around two. She was not frightened at all, and she grew up to be an intelligent wonderful human being.

Ii don't have kids, but I do remember one time when my pet Chihuahua was continuing to look over my head "at something". She was looking very intensely as if she could see something I couldn't. I can't say I actually believe in "ghosts" or at least the things we call ghosts, but I'm sure something got her attention at the moment. Anyway, no harm done.

Nope. My children and I go on ghost hunts in San Antonio, Texas about once a year. It's actully pretty cool. My children have actually seen ghosts at the Alamo, and we have pics of them. Most ghosts are not there to harm you. They are just trying to find their way.

If there are evil spirits roaming about the first ppl to notice are kids you know why they are still pure from all evil and can see thru the spiritual eye that's why it is important to rause your child in God's care

Kids haven't been taught that things like that are "figments of our imagination" or wrong to see. They haven't blocked it out yet. They see much more than the average person would because they haven't been desensitized yet. My children have done that. It doesn't freak me out.

I agree with Isabelle...your kid is not imagining anything. Ask them what/who it is and what they want to do. Children are very intuitive and can see and hear what we cannot.

That would be extremely freaky. Kids are supposed to be able to see things in planes we can't see.
