If you are referring to racist whites, they believe they are more "pure" than black people. Thier definition of purity is neither uniform nor relevant.

However, white people have much to be proud of. Virtually all of modern science and all of western philosophy and western culture comes from white people. This doesn't mean white people are superior, it just means certain people are better organized and educated, and certain people work harder. It's not always white people. However, if other so-called races would quit attacking white people all the time and blaming whitey for thier problems, they might get further in life.

Case in point, your question denotes a belief that all white people are racist, which is a racist belief.

Martin Luther King would tell you to judge people based upon the content of their character, not the color of thier skin, and that people besides whites believe they are superior. Especially Mister Black Power up there. And all the latinos who are a part of la Rassa ("the race"). And every person who refers to whites as honky, cracker, etc.

Racism is more prevalent in non-whites these days, because of all the anti-anglo propaganda. If it were any other race being attacked, it would be considered racist. But since it is whites that are being attacked, that's ok.

Racism is something all races share. But you knew that already by posing such a racist question.

In history of time different cultures have been superior: Egyptians - you know: At one time, the chineese were way ahead of us when it came to science. In china the work were inherited and passed on from father to son, so in the late mideavel time they couldnt hold this position anylonger. The Europeans on the other hand, at this time "reinvented" what the chinese had invented centuries ago - and finally took a leading position in cultural and science. This was at a time when human started really getting around the globe. The Europeans felt probably very superior; and they acted superior: This way they were superior to themselves and to others.

It all depended on what is considered superior at the time and what it is that puts you in the lead. Is this changing now? In the 50 and 60 the challenge was: Russia or US. The Russians sent the Sputnik to space with Laika and won the race. The US really had to work hard to get the first man on the moon to settle this. The japanese are superior when it comes to technology today, but is that enough?

It all stems from medieval culture of feudalism, serfdom, kings and royalty.

When the whites moved on to other lands and conquered them as sailors and soldiers, naturally they found themselves in a position of power. Having dealt with the hierarchy of status back in Europe and thus developing an inferiority complex, naturally, white colonists viewed themselves as superior to the native races now that they actually held some power. It was more important for them to be superior to others than for the natives, because they didn't really care.

I find that attitude still continues to this day. While whites have developed many advanced technologies, I suppose the reason why many come off with that superior attitude is primarily because of European history. It explains why most suburbanites want homes that emulate castles as much as possible...

Should sporting events groups be decided on situated on race and intercourse additionally. By no longer giving the fewer competent avid gamers the possibility to play at the reliable groups you're denying them the possibility to make hundreds of thousands. (Oops that would desire a few of the ones terrible racists and sexists) Pre university, public university, junior schools, and schools are to be had for any person who wants to move. Graduate colleges grow to be extra intricate and the quality colleges must handiest take those who rating the maximum rankings. Why must a scholar who labored his @ss off to get to the highest be punished considering he isn't a minority? I do not care if the scholar is inexperienced. If he's essentially the most certified he must get the slot. When we're speaking approximately medical professionals I recognise I for one desire the quality medical professionals operating on me. I do not desire a few health care professional that used to be installed simply to fill a minority slot. Maybe he had an uncle who used to be a political candidate.

Presumably because they encountered other races in with less advanced technology and conquered and enslaved them.

Read "Guns, Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond. It is about the reasons that white Europeans were the first to conquer the Americans, not vice versa (could have been native americans who sailed over to Europe and conquered it). The reasons are NOT racial superiority. I think that book is very important, because those perceived differences in "superiority" seem to cause a lot of racism.

Well, as a resident Swiss I would not call it racism. It's actually against the (some) foreigners living here and not against tourists.

Reason: We encounter a very great amount of immigrants we have great problems with - higher crime rates, (ab-)using our social welfare system, bad education and so on.

Of course, it's not a solution at all to get personally!

I'm just trying to explain, not to justify.

We dont all believe that. We are equal no more no less just because my ancestors owned slaves dosent mean I owe you anything it dosent mean I am a bad person and does not mean anyone has a right to judge me because of my skin color anymore than white people have a right to judge other races in my opinion it shouldnt matter what color you are. Blessed be.
