Nope. Were the French resistance Terrorists? Im sure Hitler would say yes.
However, the argument muddies with the middle east, especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Israelis used to bomb the plestinians when they were a tate, so they were terrorists..
Now, its the other way round. Palestinians attrack an occupying force and their terrorists. Israel is now the new state.
How short our memories are

Depends on how you define terrorism. If you mean gurellia and sucidal warfare. then it depends on the observer and which side your on.
In cases like vietnam, and iraq you have people killing to keep the land their fighting on. They will never see themselves as terrorist.
In the US. the goal is not own that land but some other abstract reason like liberty, or democracy or anti communist.
But to answer your question, yes because terrorism is a tatic...a tatic used since the first war was ever fought. terrorism is the use of exterme acts to hinder an enemy hurt its moral and create terror or fear in an enemy.
The american form of terrorism is called shock an awe.
Same bombs, same civilan causalities diffrent name.

The bad part is that if they just stopped the killing for 1 year. just 12 short months, all US and coalition troops would be on their way home. I am convinced that they are trying to keep us there, so they have a way to keep their supporters riled up.

No, though insurgents fighting for liberation may use terrorist tactics, and insurgents are often called terrorists for political reasons.
