When I think of the word infant, I think of a young baby. I don't really use the term though. I've always just said baby until about 10 months or when they start cruising or walking. At that point, I call them toddlers until about 2 years old. 2-4 years is a pre-schooler and then they are just plain "kids".

I think until they are a year old they are considered infants. Then at 12 months they are toddlers..

They are called "newborns" for about 5 or 6 weeks. then infants. then creepers/crawlers, the toddlers, children, then adolsescents, then young adults, then adults, them middle adults, then older adults, then seniors, and then elderly. they all deserve the same respect as u or I.

the lady who said 1 to 3 is off her rocker.their toddlers at that age.newborns are 1 to 3 months.infants 3 months up til their 1st b day.then toddler.
