yes because you signed a contract to pay. if you dont you go off bond and go back to jail. and you will have to bond out all over again

You mean you didn't have the 10% & the COURT put you on a payment plan, OR do you mean you didn't have the 10% so someone went to a bail bondsman for you & you're still making payments to him?

If it's the court, then your full bond is returned when you appear for court & your case is finally resolved (they typically retain funds toward any fine). Simplly call the court clerk & ask, it will be resolved.

If it's to a bail bondsman, you have to pay them for keeps.

yes, im not 100% sure on the criminal aspects but if im right and you stop paying on the bond they dont have a bond to pull from the court so you would be ok there, But you are dealing with a bondsman and they may be able to place leins on your property such as a car, boat, house to get it paid and they can definitely mess with your credit and also since you are dealing with a bondsman they arent that concerned with ethics, ethically speaking these guys are right next to a repo man just above and Enron executive.

Not if your case is over and you are not in jail. The bond is to get you out of jail to insure you will show up in court if you get out.
