I assume you're uninsured. If this is the case, call your obstetrician (or, if you don't have one yet, call several of them) and ask what they charge for cash-paying patients. You could also call the billing department at the local hospital and ask them. Make sure you also ask about the anesthesiologist's fees. My epidural was $1,000 (I paid $15 of it with my insurance.)

What exactly is the question here. I'm from Richmond, Indiana and it cost me about $300 dollars to have my baby. And that was with Medicaid coverage.

Call the hospital and ask for bookkeeping. Tell them what you want to know and they will tell you the cost of all procedures.
