Is America's Army ever going to come out on the PS2? I've heard that the game might have been cancelled for the Playstation all together. I also heard that they might have pulled it for the PS2 and going to release on the PS3. But I can't find any proof that that's what is going on. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I was unaware they were developing this game for the PS2?! Either way it would make more sense to shift there development to PS3 given that it will support online capabilities more and AA is after all purely online

The game is a free combat simulator provided by game designers working with and for the United States Army. As such, it would probably remain that way, as they use it as a form of recruitment rather than a form of revenue to the U.S. Armed Forces- who wants to pay $30-$50 just to play a game meant to recruit people?
