Depending upon the quality of water(hard or soft), quality of your shaving gel/cream/foam, style in which you shave(same or opposite direction to that of hairs), No of shaves (daily, once in two days etc.), safety of blade after using, texture of your hairs etc.
Anyway I use Mach3 and there is lever to be pulled(on the head of handle) down to take out the cartrige

Usually depends on the usage, if it is daily usage, then after approx 6 months the blade should reduce to work properlly and u will be going over the same spot a few times. The only right way would b wen u need to go over the same spot more than twice.

With two rounds of shaving does not make your skin clean then its time to change the blade.

really matters how much you shave and what razor i have a mach 3 so i change it every week but i shave every day

no hard and fast rules dude...when u feel it aint sharp and u aint getting the best shave...time for a switch(-_-).

depends how often you shave. i do my legs and under arms twice then toss it.
