Your asking the right man. I mean dog. I've done so many times when my yelping has gotten out of control. Do not use one of the sub-domain help menus (mail, profiles) but the MAIN yahoo help menu. There is a "close account" (how do I close my account) option.

Simple, don't open the acoount for more than 30 days or more. And here U go, the account is deleted.

perhaps you should go into the section that says "account settings" find a link that says "delete account" and take it from there.
