"Suits have no value.
The suits of the cards are mainly used in determining whether a hand fits a certain category (specifically the Flush and Straight flush hands). In most variants, if two players have hands that are identical except for suit, then they are tied and split the pot. Sometimes a ranking called high card by suit is used for randomly selecting a player to deal. "
Of course, as was said, a group of players could state and agree to some ranking according to suit, but that is not standard.

Spades is the highest suit. I saw two players in a Seven Stud game at Hollywood Park Casino each hit the royal in two different suits and the house gave it to the one with the higher suit, which was spades. Spades is the highest suit in poker; whenever players draw high card for the button when a table opens up, the Ace of Spades is considered the highest card even if someone else has an ace.

Luckily I have a friend that works as a dealer. The way the suits lay out in order is alphabetically:
Clubs Diamonds Hearts Spades
The Royal Flush in Spades is the higher hand.

Normally Spades is the higher of the suits. But, if both have a royal flush, usually the pot is split. Depending on where you play and the rules of the house.

It's not impossible in all poker games, and there is no ranking of suits. They would be equal. I have played hands where players have had identical flushes in different suits, and the pot gets chopped.

I'd say spades because the Ace of spades is where the logo of the brand of cards goes. Also...because motorhead has a song named Ace of spades, and not Ace of hearts. What does that have to do with anything? Motorhead is sweet.

Definetely split pot. You play to hit given hands. If there was such a rule and 2 people had a pair of twos. The one with the heart would win? I don't think so. Don't be so foolish. Its always a split pot in Poker.

Clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades. It's impossible in Texas holdem and Omaha, but it is possible in 7- and 5-card stud and draw.

some morons think that the suite has value, that is incorrect. suites are to divide the cards not to hold value therefore they are equal. there are people who believe that spades are of higher value than hearts but that is not true at all
