how do you clean a old fuel tank if you cannot remove it from the boat?

Really it depends 2 what extent it needs cleaning! ,if it has rust in it I would be inclined 2 fit a new tank ru sure it has,nt got some sort of inspection cover hidden on the tank someplace?

Most boatyards have a "flush" service where they pump out all the old fuel and run a cleaner through the tank and lines.
