I honestly think that he is a great President and I would vote him in again in a heart beat. I think that he has done a wonderful job. I mean yes there were mistakes made but no one is perfect. I mean I don't think that I would have been able to make those desisions like he did. If it would have been me I would still be trying to decide if we should go to war. It would just be too much for me to have to deal with. But, I want to hear some other people's opinions that are not on the news. . . . .

confused_honey, you sure are confused.

Bush is prejudice? How so? Name one case. He has hired more minorities than any president in history. You just 'believe' he is racist inside? You can't show me one instance? Is it the southern accent? does everyone with a southern accent hate minorities? Is mayor negan racist? He left all those Black people there to die, and did not follow the written evacuation guidelines for the city. Then the governor would not allow the national guard to come into the city to help because once she allowed them, she would lose 'control'. What specifically did bush do wrong? I'll bet you can't answer.

Bush is greedy? How so? He has given more money to social programs than Clinton has. Where is he greedy? If you want to see greedy, look at clinton and his real estate deals, or widow marrying kerry and his wife he picked up at her husbands funeral.

Stop repeating every liberal propaganda crap you hear, and look into things yourself.

There are good opinions on both sides. Personally I think he has done a fine job, and made decisions that had to be made. I never thought the WMD was as important as removing Saddam in the first place, but I can understand why people feel betrayed in hindsight. On the other hand, every independent security agency across the world thought he had WMD, including Saddam's own advisors, so it's hard to blame Bush for making a tough call.

The media doesn't report the mass amounts of good that has happened over there either.

As for the hurricanes, there were evacuation orders that people ignored. I live in Florida, and FEMA has done an amazing job here over the last 3 years. People blame the government rather than blame themselves. All levels of government dropped the ball during Katrina, but some blame has to lie with the citizens.

My finances have been wonderful during Bush's presidency, and I think we recovered amazingly after 9/11. After the technology boom, it is amazing we don't have even more unemployment. The stock market is soaring, the housing market is incredible, unemployment is around average...

You'll notice most people that say they hate him don't back up why they hate him, they just do because Jon Stewart makes fun of him, so it's cool. The average person should not be allowed to vote because they don't understand how the real world works, they just get their news from late night hosts and bloggers. Those that say he is racist can't back that up, it's just a popular opinion to have.

I hate him because he is predjudiced and greedy and destroyed so many people especially childrens lives. Bush is very shrewd and i don't see how people can believe his lies. He is racist and although there is people of other cultures there in the government i still believe its purely politics. I Knew he was eveil but I never really believed that he was racist until Hurricane rita. One day he'll be in History lessons as a tyrant and evil!
Go to the whithouse website, you will be shocked to see what he says about Jewish people and Black people. Check it out there's a whole lot of interesting things there.
And I have looked at both sides of the story, there is propaganda. And the media doesn't show only the bad things he does, it show so much good infact (made to look good by the way)

And did you know that more money has been given for the wars than the whole of Africa alone, and Africa really needs help.

President Bush is the worst President our country has ever had. Years from now people will look back and realize how the decline of our country began with his term in office. There is one driving force in every decision Bush makes and that is the almighty dollar. It makes me sick to my stomach. Why don't we as Americans have universal healthcare? Why is our country so internally corrupt? The corporations rule; the dollar rules and it will be the single factor in the destruction of this nation and George Bush will have a big hand in causing it.

I'll make my opinions brief.

- I had much higher hopes for both President Bush and the Republican majorities.

- War with Al Qaida and the Taliban in Afghanistan was absolutely necessary and has been handled quite well..

- War in Iraq may have been delayed longer, but confrontation with saddam was innevitable, whatever the cause and whenever it was to come. The nature of the bad mixture of politics and religion in the Middle East made this sort of quagmire inevitable once we were there.

- Much of the post-9/11, pre-Iraq hullaballoo boiled down to "the President lied", which is ludicrous in light of the absolute flood of lies from politicians of all sorts for ages.

- 90+% of the tsunami of negativity from both within and without the US against President Bush is unfounded garbage. I believe people are fed up with the Federal Government's behavior and poor performance over a couple decades and several factors came together early on in this administration that set off this ugly backlash.

- President Bush has restored many rights taken away by citizen clinton, and refused to sign onto the bogus Kyoto Accord -- obvious positives.

- The partial mishandling of the Katrina situation falls most squarely on incompetent and corrupt officials in the affected areas of Louisiana and it is technically not a duty of the Federal Govt. to handle that sort of situation. Who was in the whitehouse was irrelevant.

- As any Federal SNAFU takes roughly 3-4 years to shake down, many of Bush's troubles began with the weasely ways of citizen clinton which actually falls on the US public because they voted clinton into office twice, KNOWING full well he was a dirt-bag!

- President Bush, while returning a little dignity to the office of President, and actually signing off on many laws even he wasn't fully behind, and despite available veto power, because he wanted to return power of legislation where it belongs, will not be remembered for doing so because of the damage he has caused the country's global reputation.

- I admire Bush's conviction to stick with his policies and largely ignore the onslaught of BS from the media, but on the other hand, in the current media climate, being too silent has obviously led to their running amok.

- As a christian, i have to applaud Bush's religious convictions, and they definitely are NOT wholly a plot to curry favor as some claim, nor is he a religious fanatic as secular groups have made him out to be by twisting his words.

I still like the guy, and I'd still vote for him, though at this point he's running things knowing he never has to run again. I don't like everything he's done, but 95% of the issues involve him taking the heat for other folks. Anyway, he isn't so bad.

My opionion is the same as before, he is a self-centered egotistical hypocrite. He has a dictator mentality. He should never have been elected, but the elections were dishonest and we have paid a high price for it.
