Usually through an agency and auditions. Many of them are MUCH older than the "star". It takes a LOT more skill as a dancer to work in a group and match perfectly, etc. I suggest you begin by taking dance lessons. If you are shorter than 5'6" and weigh more than 126 lbs. you will NOT get the job.
