I'm a mac user, macs are really very similar to linux, with a better graphical user interface. Macs are essentially virus free, are fast and very easy to restore. Most application problems can be resolved by simply moving its preferences folder, 98% of the time without needing to waste time reinstalling the program.
The new mac commercials are not saying that windows is bad, just that there are things mac's are better at, communicating with a windows machine, for example. also macs have drivers for most devices included with the software, for example if you wanted to use a wireless usb mouse with a windows you would have to install the software for it, but on a mac, the ability to communicate and use the mouse is built in and there is no software needed. mac also includes the drivers for hundreds of printers.

Ive seen a mac before but never use it. I have windows. and never seen linux before but have heard of it. So i would choose windows. I also dont like those Mac commercals and how they think windows is a pile of trash. MAc has there share of problems too i bet!.

I prefer linux. But I'm usually using Windows, because I have so much software for Windows, and I don't really like using cross platform applications, like Wine, etc.

Windows sucks! Linux is much better. I use both.

expensive(high,more high,free)
utility tools (very ,low , low)
user frendly(good, very good, very very bad)
programming and customized (so so , bad ,very very very nice )
speed (bad, good ,good)
game and entertaiment (very good , bad ,bad )
in next 10 years( fail , dead , good)
graphic and 3d (not good , very nice, bad)
new hardware detection (good, bad , very very hard for normal user )
linux in this time just for crazy progrmmer but it will better for next year
mac is very depend to apple and motorla hardware and this brand will be dead
about security mac is not safe but windows with 3rd party security
same as norton or macafee so better
have a nice time
