You answered your question already. You must make the site look really genuine. It is my opinion that we tend to judge on line education based on how the website look and ensures that it's not one of those where you'll end up paying for "manuals, guidebooks" and all other stuffs that you don't actually need. You have to trust your instinct and stick to your feasibility study when you first thought of putting up your on line education...consider the competition as well. Personally, I'd go for an Internet based education that is somehow "connected" or affiliated with a known educational institution...

You are falling victim to the Ray Consella Syndrome. You think that "If you build it, they will come". That couldn't be further from the truth.

Develop a marketing strategy. Who are the types of people who would best benefit from your product? Take that answer, and of that population, figure out who cannot live without your product.. Take that answer, and figure out who cannot live another NANOSECOND without your product. Chances are, your are going to mention some sort of population in your home town.

Start networking with people in your home town, such as through your Chamber of Commerce or Rotary. Work to establish some personal credibility so when you recommend your site, they will know it is more than simply some slick HTML code, but an actual human that wants to help them get the education they need.

Sounds like the word is out but the fish are not biting. I would look for evidence of accreditation and experience in the field. Hiring a good web developer may be costly up front but certainly will allow you to present a professional on line appearance which is a huge part of the battle.

If you want (or anyone) want to promote business/website, visit http://marketingdreamz.tripod.com/
or contact atmarketingdreamz@yahoo.com.
The cool things about this website is that it is ran by college students and so you could try to offer your own advertising rate, because they just sarted, so am sure, they'll advertise for really reasonable rate.!

If your website is as full of mistakes in grammar and punctuation as your posted question ..... Then I'd say your trouble is right there! I hope, for your sake, that you had a professional design your website.

Good Luck!
