we went to court the judge granted the divorce. I have yet to get the papers from OCT of 2005 according to the DA it is still pending, my exs lawyer say that it is final cause the judge said so? some one with alittle knowledge of law help please.

if the judge sined it and both was there it is legal you can obtain a copy from the clerks office your lawer as well ought to have sent you a copy as well the .da. is not in this matter only if abuse is brought up by you or him in the divorce . check with the judges securty who heard the case as well the clercek clerks office to see it will be on file there .

I read somewhere it is not final until you get your divorce decree.
