We have only been together a month and a half but when we talk about sex he says he's making love to me. I have never had a guy say that so i don't really know how to react. I really don't know what that means either.

i'm not an idiot. we have already had sex and yes we used protection, but if we haven't said i love you to each other (neither one of us is ready for a serious relationship) then why would he call it making love?? not sex

The difference to most people between sex and making love is an emotional one. Sex is just that no emotions just two bodies going at it. Making love is two people that have feelings, or one of them does. Hope this helps.
