Feral cats do not meow or purr.
They only hiss, spit and growl. :o(

I learned about the birthday paradox. Did you know that with a group of just twenty-three people there is a 50% chance that two people have the same answer. With forty people the chances jump to 90%. Isn't that cool?
I also learned that maybe I should put nitrogen in my tires.

That I have big dreams, but no outlet for them.
That i am very uncertain about my life and the course that it is taking.
That England has a good soccer team but because they seem to play on different wavelengths they may not go far in the world cup.
That i can sing.
that i want to be so much more than i am.
That i walk a greater path than i or the people around me realize and respect.
That not all that shines is gold.
And that you ask some really thought provoking questions!

i learn things everyday. a vary important thing to do. i guess the newest thing i learned was you should never eat a half a watermelon and then drink a 32 oz beer and then 6 bottles. (i usually don't drink but a friend needed to get out for the night so we had a drink at a bar then went to his house and did a drinking game to Monty python holy Grail. basically what you do is drink every time they use logic in an illogical sense. ya, we drank a lot) (i ate the watermelon before he called me)

I answered a question to the effect: yes I do remember being somewhere before I was born because I've got these ugly moles on my arm and one day I was looking at them and they suddenly struck me as being a constellation, which then triggered my "before I was born" memory. (I know nothing about constellations except orion and a few planets and phases of the moon)
One of my fellow answerers pm'd me and asked, what constellation? I didn't know, so I took a picture of my arm and put it on my blog and told him where my ugly arm was. The next day, he msg'd me and said it looked like Cynus, and what was the lattitude and longitude of where I was born? So I told him (I don't live there anymore, haven't since 1965), and he said cynus is visible from that location at such and such a time of year.
Kind of blew my mind. I looked at Cynus on Wikipedia and I got the shivers.

After all these years of taking my Mom out for dinner ... I just learned today that she loves drinking coffee. My Mom is 62 years old. She's never ordered or asked for it before when we dined out, and she never made a cup when we were home. Imagine that. This may be trivial to others, but a gem of knowledge to me.

I learned that you do not take beer in bottles on a quad camping trip. After a couple hours of mountain trails, we had a cooler full of iced beer-water and glass. Only a few survived.
