I have noticed that when I am bored, time seems to pass slowly. If you just sit and watch a clock, it will pass very slowly. On the other hand, when we are busy or doing something interesting, time seems to pass quickly. So, it's always a tradeoff. Do something boring, and time drags by slowly. Do something interesting, and time speeds up. It is the inviolable law of time perceptivity, and there is no way around it. I opt for the interesting, and just forget about time.
Time is just an illusion anyway. It is always now, the eternal present.

Travel at an accelerated rate. Einstein proved in his equations that time and space are related. Basically, the faster something moves through space, the slower it's "time". The time of everything else would be the same though. Clocks that have been synchonized on earth and then one of them sent to space to orbit the earth for some time are compared. The clock that was travelling much faster in orbit than the stationary one was slower (not by much, some millionths of a second) than the one on earth. Not by much, but slower indeed.

If we rally our world leaders to renegotiate our contract with time, the universe and everything. Then maybe they could intentionally stall and drag out negotiations. In the meantime, while they're trying to get us a new deal worked out, our lives could be extended indefinitely.
For all we know we could all end up floating in a timeless void until these goofballs hammer out a compromise.

We cant. When you were younger, you could only compare an hour to the % years of your life that you've already lived. Now that you're 30+ you compare an hour to the 30+ years you've lived. When you were 5, it was soooooo long. Now, where did that last ten seconds go?

that's how it goes...kids do different things...adult people also do different things...unfortunately, some adults doesn't like what they're doing, they get bored sometimes, they tired of their routine jobs..that's why they wanted to somehow manipulate time and wish to go back in time and do the things they did when they were still kids..that's life...you can't do anything about the time(how fast or how slow) you can't control it anyway...must enjoy it! :)

You can't. We are close to the end of this age, make it the best you can. I'm in my late 40's and I'm going to try to deal with this mad world the best I can. It's hard to do. Hang in there!

i don't think we can. sorry to say that though. time has its own speed and way of passing by. can't change the rate of it though. i sure wish i could change the rate of time though. it sure would be nice to change it just to see if it would really make a difference.
