There's a great blog called "Taco Hunt" in Los Angeles. Check it out at http://tacohunt.blogspot.com/. He's reviewed pretty much all the popular spots in LA.

Friends, Romans, countrymen...it's Tito's Tacos, on Washington in West LA. There is a long line every single day, from opening to closing. Generations raise their young on their heavenly tacos. Don't bother with the other stuff on the menu, it's all about the tacos here. Sigh, I dream of them still, 400+ miles away.

you know what's the best taco joint? people say king taco, but there is one restaurant that inspired them all. it's called El Taurino. i hear that El Taurino were asked to be a franchise, but they said no, so that's why King Taco is made. King taco is very similar to El Taurino, but El Taurino is the mother of those restaurants. it's the best.

it's located south of Olympic/Hoover. right in front of food4less.

trust me, screw King taco. go to el taurino and make sure you get the red sauce on the side if you dont' tolerate spicy food

El Tepayac over in East LA. Take the 5 to Chavez and head east. Make a left Evergreen and it will be on the right a few blocks down. They have a small parking lot so you will probably park on the street.

Paco's by LAX. Take the 405 and get off on La Cienega. Make a right on Manchester(West). It will be close to the corner of Truxton and Manchester on the left(south) side.

El Cholo it also pretty good. Take the 10 and head north on Western. It's on the left a little ways past 12th street.
