It doesn't make sense to me, really. Anyway, he's never the son of God.

Because he was sent here to die for our sins, thats why God wouldn't help him. He had to die to save us.
The dying IS important in Christianity because without it, we wouldn't have everlasting life with God in heaven.

Jesus is the Son of God and he suffered because, he wanted to show his integrity by proving Satan wrong and proving his father Jehovah to be right. ( Proverbs 27:11)
His father and he love humankind so much that he was given as a sacrifice for us to live forever. (John 3:16) And by his obedience we were given the gift of everlasting life. (Hebrews 5:7-9)
But though he died a painful death he is now in heaven as a mighty king and his kingodom will stand for times indefinite. ( 1Timothy 6:14-16; Hebrews 1:3-4; Daniel 7:13, 14) :)

Jesus was crucified on purpose... to save all the sinners like us... so God the father let it happened... and eventually Jesus rose from the dead after 3 days... to prove to us the He is the son of God... the Lord of the living and the dead

Jesus wasnt the only son of god, we all are his children, and jesus never said he was the son of god he said he was the son of man, and when the son of man return, we will al be happy and dancing in the streets, but I believe Jesus purpose was to set us on the right path to perfection, and he didnt die, because we dont die, are bodies die, jesus is waiting, waiting for us to find perfection, and for heaven to return

It's not the dying, but the Resurrection that is important in Christianity. Since we presume that no one has done it before, or since, it's the basis of faith.
So actually Easter should a more important holiday then Christmas for Christians.

Jesus was a human being. Don't you remember while he was on the cross, he asked "father why have you forsaken me" He felt pain like you and me. He chose to do this for you and me. I think I will leave it at that before i say something I will be upset for later.

its all symbolic man..I wouldnt take it too seriously.
Do you really think Jesus would/should really have to die to save us from our sins...it just doesnt make sense.
Jesus was killed because those in power saw him as a threat to their power. Of course he could predict his death (and have time for a good story to add on with it) he was openly challenging people who could easily kill him, or have him killed...and what do you know..they did.
Bottome line, Sacrafice is beautiful.
