I love monopoly!!! Me and my two daughters play all the time...We are a little loose with the rules sometimes and let ewach other borrow money and we trade properties....It is a great game for them to learn with though...Just can't take it to seriously..Except I ALWAYS have to be the Car

monoply is an awesome game and it has great playtime, not to long at all. i am currently the reigning champ at my house in monopoly because i am so good with the idea of having a "buisness" and actually making money. i have no idea how id last out in the real world with these kind of buisness skills(id probably end up a poor bum living on the street) but monopoly is a great game in my opinion.

My opinion tends to sway to the side of economic Darwinism, and I likewise believe that competition is the catalyst for growth of strong companies and economies, as well as a natural governor on cost to consumers. Some monopolies can be beneficial in certain situations, but generally absolute power corrupts absolutely.

My all time favorite game. I would have long monopoly wars with my siblings. It is a classic and a staple in any household.
Spice things up by getting a different version of it though. I own the original and "beaveropoly" which is based on my college.

I think monopoly is wonderful, it is timeless...yes it is outdated, technically speaking, but thats part of the appeal. I collect monopoly boards, I have many unique and hard to find ones, they are also part of the appeal...I like seeing what makes it on the boards.
Fun for all ages, easy to understand....to steal a tagline from another game (othello), it takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master.
Truly, it does!

Only, the longest time consuming game ever. It starts out slow, but once a monopoly is owned, prepare to have fun.

I enjoy playing it occasionaly. Its 50% and 50% strategy and negotiating skills. I win most of the time. The game can go on for too long. I prefer a fast 1hr to 2hr game where people take high risks to win

It may be old but it's very fun. Plus it was very awesome game in the 1930's bc of the great depression and that pretend money was something to the poor ppl back then

I love Monopoly, partly because sometimes it takes ages to finish.
