There is no point in having a sex change if it is for the purpose of having a kid as that will never happen. If they want to have children, the must either adopt or find a surrogate mother and decide which male will impregnate her.
As far as the marrying part. It won't be legal if they do it in the US (except for Mass.) so it will only be a symbolic ceremony. Just got about having a regular wedding except without all the legal stuff.

It is NOT advisable that one of them have a sex change operation. That will destroy the relationships. Gays like other guys, not girls -- changing one into a girl will end everything.
There are lots of ways of having kids, and males can carry -- though they'd need to go to Europe at this point, given American laws.
As for how to do it. Become Canadian citizens, or if they are determined to do it in the US -- become MA citizens (MA does not marry out of staters.) There are also a number of countries in Europe that offer gay marriage.

PS To Abdullah -- contrary to the bronze age writings of the fundamentalist branches of some religions in the Western Tradition -- THEY ARE NORMAL. Normal for them.

It would depend on where they live on whether or not they could get married. The laws vary. As far as them having children, a sex change is not going to help matters. Just because a man has his penis removed doesn't make him able to have babies. The only way they would be able to have children is either through adoption or if they find a surrogate mother and one of them donates sperm.

A sex change operation won't help them have children of their own. Gay marriage in the US is only legal in Massachesses, currently. But each state varies to the extent that they allow civil unions and grant some legal protections to the union. However if moving isn't a huge deal it is legal in Canada and in England Civil Unions are granted exactly the same legal status as marriage.

Why doesnt he get a same sex marriage, and even if he has a sex change he wont be able to have kids unless they adopt. and even they may not be allowed to adopt kids either. Sorry for being the bringer of bad news.

haha, you're kidding, right?
If not.... They should not get sex change. If someone gets a sex change it does not make it possible for him/her to give birth.
2 men can get married. Not legaly in all countries, but at least in some. If they want a child they will need to adopt.

If they go to England, they should be able to get married... Elton John married his partner somewhere over there, so why shouldn't your friends be allowed? Also, They could try adopting. Just because the child wouldn't have their DNA doesn't mean it wont love them...
I hope this helps...

They should find somewhere that marriage is legal and go for it! International adoptions, foster adoption and local adoptions are always an option, but I feel that getting a sex change is going overboard.

Having a sex change operation won't enable them to have children. They still won't have the right equipment. There's really nothing that you need to do. It's your friend's business and you should just let him do what he wants. If he needs your help, he'll come to you.

sex change??? no. adopt. there are LOTS of children who want homes and to be loved. tell them to go to hawaii. i believe it's still legal down there. but i wouldn't go operating. not unless one of them "feels" the need for reassignment. but that's entirely different too. sexual orientation and sexual identity are totally different.
