I was there in April of 2004 with my father, I know it's a long time ago, but I'm looking for a movie about space and how big we are in comparison...I wish I could be less vague. If anyone recalls this movie, please let me know, I'm trying to get it for him for Father's Day. Thanks a lot for any help....

Maybe one of these will seem familiar. There are short descriptions, too. It is unlikely that AMNH showed a movie that was made much earlier (more than a year) than you saw it.
You might be able to get information from the Museum's PR office about what was playing at the time you were there.
Some IMAX movies are available for regular format TV as VHS tapes. (Perhaps DVD, too; I don't know.) Museum gift shops often carry them. For a movie like the one you're talking about, I would call the gift shop at the National Air and Space Museum in Washingon, DC. (It's part of the Smithsonian.) They also have an IMAX theatre, and stock a lot of them.

I just checked out the AMNH website, and they do not sell the movies that are shown in the IMAX theater. I doubt that you will abe able to find the films for sale that they show there.

Unfortunately, it is not available on DVD, but it's a wonderful idea nonetheless.
