Hi! How sweet! Look in her closet so you can get a taste of her style, what kind of cut she likes in a dress, the color, the material (pay attention to that! No poly!)What body parts does she like to keep covered? Reveal? Coverage is still important to some woman. What are her body insecurities? What kind of heel does she like on her shoes (if any), style (some women can't walk in certain shoes i.e. shoes without ankle straps for example). Good luck! Go to a nice dress shop in a mall, get a well dressed female clerk to help you out and you'll do fine. If you prefer to spend lots of money, Rodeo Drive has some nice shops, as does 5th Avenue in New York. Good luck and have fun!!

Go to the main stores in the mall. i.e: Nordstroms, Macy's etc...
Since she is a smaller women, make sure the dress isn't long, go for above her knee. As for color, sounds like she would look smashing in, a green or red dress! Ask any women working there or even women who are shopping, I'm sure they'd be glad to help!
