Driver side under car bolts directly into the bell housing next to engine oil pan and it's a magnetic type no brushes this may or may not be the problem this vehicle has 2 starter solenoids one on the starter and one on the finder well and u just could have the the solenoid on the starter has come lose very common and will not to be replaced these are great motors cause there all magnets and not much goes wrong with them and you could have a bad connection someplace and either solenoids or battery

Under the truck next to the oil pan on the passenger side. Bolted to the bell housing so it engages the ring gear on the flywheel.
