If you are getting enough sleep and are still tired, get yourself checked out for sleep apnea....especially if you've been told that you snore.
Otherwise, if you know you aren't getting enough sleep, try to get into the habit of going to bed earlier.

I don't know what's really going on, but I will say something different from what other people are saying... how about WAKING UP earlier? It might be a pain in the neck, but once you've been awake for a couple of hours you shouldn't feel sleepy anymore. Not after a shower and a cup of coffee or two. And don't eat too much for breakfast, it'll only make you sleepier.
Hope it helps...

I got the same thing, every freakin day I wake up like that. but I think I found an answer, I dunno if it'll work for you.... I noticed when I sleep for a certain amount of time, a specific amount,
like for a while I tried exactly 8 hours, not counting the time it takes lying there in bed trying to go to sleep, with a 10 minute window to force myself out of bed in the morning, it got progressively easier to get up and a shorter time to actually feel
awake. But...someone at work said they get like 5 1/2 to 6 and feel fine, so your timing may different then what your getting.
good luck.

My Dear As per your ID "Abbasi" belongs to muslim, then you have lots of ideas to get rid of this problem.
Try this :
Have Dinner between a 8-9: o'clock before or after namaaz-e-isha.
Go to bed at 10 o'clock, before going to sleep have wazoo, then clean you bed for 3 times, then recite Darood shareef for three times then "Aayatal Kursi" then 3 times darood shareef and pray for good sleep and early rise for namaaz-e-fazr, then sleep, you will automatically get up early before namaaz-e-fazr, leave the bed immediately and get fresh and go for namaaz-e-fazr. Make this your daily routine. This is the only idea which can help you to get rid of sleepy in the morning.
May Allah Jallashanahu help you and forgive you and all of us.
Ameen.

Depression, stress, anxiety, sleep apnea to name a few. Maybe it's time to get a sleep test. My own problem was that I tossed and turned all night because of back pain. I now take some pills before bedtime that make me sleep through the pain.

Cut down on the partying, drugs or drinking and leave it for Friday's and Saturdays. Sunday's are to rest up and recuperate for Monday work. Only you know what makes you sleepy. If you hate your job, find another one you'll like BEFORE you quit.

"Early to bed; early to rise, keeps a person healthy, wealthy, and wise!"
Go to bed earlier! If this isn't the problem, then try changing your diet.
